The fastest way to reach Ithaka is email: [email protected]. One person reads that inbox, so a specific subject line gets a faster answer than a general one.

These get priority. Send the URL and the specific claim that is wrong, ideally with a source. Ferry timetables, boat prices and which beaches are open change between seasons and sometimes between weeks, and a reader who took the crossing last month knows the current answer better than any timetable we can publish.

We work with a small number of travel affiliate programmes and are open to more, but not to paid placements, sponsored posts, link insertions, or guest posts. Those requests are declined without reply, so please save yourself the follow-up.

Quoting a page is fine with a link. Our own text is not licensed for republication in bulk. Photographs on the site are used under their individual Creative Commons licences and are not ours to relicense: the credit on each image names its author and licence, which is where permission has to come from.
